Blue Mountains Ancestral Pathways (BMAP) is an Aboriginal owned and operated Tourism and Educational Business that offers an authentic local Aboriginal experience in a contemporary context. Traditional cultural knowledge and practices will be shared to provide an insight into local Gundungurra culture as well as providing opportunities to connect to the country.
Since 2007 we have ventured deep into the Blue Mountains National Park with archaeologists and community members finding and recording sites of Gundungurra history. With our experienced guides and Cultural presenters, 2017 is our 5th year of talking a group of 10 to 15 community members for a seven-day walk across the Blue Mountains following traditional pathways visiting some of these sites along the way.
Our aim is to follow in the steps of our Ancestors, to share their knowledge so that we may all care for our Mother Earth. We all need to Care for Country, as for without Country, (Mother Earth), we have nothing.
